Carly’s Way Animal Rescue is an effort to fulfill Carly Beatty’s vision for animal rescue she had since she was in grade school. When she was young, she would go to the county animal shelter with her mom Sue to pick out animals to foster. Each time, without hesitation, Carly went first to the animals closest to euthanasia. She didn’t care what was wrong with them. Her heart was drawn to them. Later when she volunteered at animal rescues, she became concerned that the animals first to receive medical care appeared to be those that the rescue organization believed had the greatest potential to be adopted, instead of those most needing help. This tugged at her heart and Carly committed herself to study veterinary science at Texas A&M University so that she could save the lives of animals that others had given up on.

While a 19-year-old sophomore, Carly’s life was cut short by a hit-and-run drunk driver while attending Texas A&M. Carly’s family, friends, and community are making sure Carly’s vision and goal to help hurt and abandoned animals lives on. They are in the process of establishing Animal Rescue Carly’s Way as a tax exempt nonprofit organization under the Internal Revenue Code 501c and constructing this website. Please bookmark this site as it will be up and running soon.
